‘Pakistan Vision 2025′ a roadmap for national development’

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal stated that ‘Pakistan Vision 2025’ is a blueprint for nationwide progress and the outcome of extensive expert consultations.

The minister made these comments while conversing with British High Commissioner Jane Marriott who paid him a visit in Islamabad.

Ahsan Iqbal mentioned that the nation was managed without a coherent strategy from 2018 to 2022. He noted that the Ministry of Planning is synchronizing with international trends.

“During the flood crisis, the Ministry of Planning promptly established a relief committee. The 5 Es framework lays the groundwork for economic and social parity,” he articulated.

Commenting on the forthcoming budget, Ahsan Iqbal highlighted that the funding for higher education has been raised by 108 percent.

He detailed that the ministry had also allocated resources for the establishment of university campuses in each district headquarters. “There are 5,000 students enrolled in the University of Narowal,” the minister emphasized.
