The title of “Bigg Boss 11” winner, under the watch of Salman Khan, further boosted her public esteem.

“Choosing projects that have quality like ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!’ and ‘Bigg Boss’ is beneficial for a lifetime. Many actors might do numerous projects without becoming household names or gaining admiration. I aim for less quantity, more excellence. It’s better to focus on fewer, finer works than to be seen just for the sake of visibility,” PTI was told by Shinde during an interview.

Shinde has steered clear of daily television due to the exhaustive hours and inadequate pay associated with it.

“Today’s television dramas are financially constrained; nevertheless, they demand round-the-clock availability from artists. It’s impractical to work beyond twelve hours for various practical reasons. Budgets are often invested heavily in production design but not in fairly compensating the artists,” remarked the 46-year-old.

Shinde is gearing up for her next challenge in the fourteenth season of the daring reality series “Khatron Ke Khiladi,” marking her third reality venture after “Bigg Boss 11” and “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.”

Her recent string of non-fictional engagements, she mentioned, occurred by chance.

“Originally hesitant about ‘Bigg Boss’, I ended up winning. Years later, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ posed a thrilling opportunity, teaching dance to a non-dancer like myself. Despite my initial nervousness, especially being amongst proficient dancers, I accepted the challenge. ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ offers yet another unique experience. It’s about engaging in activities that are different, high-profile, and align with my commitment to quality,” Shinde explained.

Having been previously approached for “Khatron Ke Khiladi,” Shinde believes in embracing opportunities when the timing feels right.

“Whether I was ready or not, the producers persisted, and I’ve always advocated doing what you enjoy,” she stated.

Shinde humorously refers to “Khatron Ke Khiladi,” currently helmed by Rohit Shetty, as a “paid holiday” to undergo exhilarating stunts.

“The appeal of performing stunts on the show is unique; you can’t replicate these experiences in real life, even with money. Embracing this different and fun opportunity was a no-brainer,” she added.

Other celebrities set to join the upcoming season of “Khatron Ke Khiladi” include Sumona Chakravarti, Asim Riaz, Krishna Shroff, Shalin Bhanot, Abhishek Kumar, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Karan Veer Mehra, and Aditi Sharma.
