Bollywood icon Salman Khan was recently spotted at a local voting center, exercising his democratic right during the fifth phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Captured on video by ANI, the actor made his entrance in casual attire—a grey t-shirt and black trousers, completed with stylish sunglasses—as he headed into the Mumbai polling station.

Upon Salman’s arrival, photographers clamored to snap photos of the renowned ‘Tiger 3’ star. Encircled by his security team, he maneuvered through the crowd to fulfill his voting duties. Preceding this event, Salman had taken to social media to rally his fans, encouraging them to vote. His Twitter message read, “I exercise 365 days a year no matter what and now I’m going to exercise my right to vote on the 20th of May no matter what. So do whatever you want to do man, but go and vote and don’t trouble your Bharat Mata .. Bharat Mata ki Jai.”

In a touching encounter at the Mount Mary polling station in Bandra, Salman was seen warmly greeting recognized cinematographer, Nadeem Khan, who arrived in a wheelchair. Salman took a knee to have an exchange with Khan, who was there to cast his own vote.

Prior to this, Salman’s family members were also spotted participating in the democratic process. His father Salim Khan and mother Salma Khan were photographed at the same voting location, escorted by security personnel as they entered to vote.

Celebrated actors including Shah Rukh Khan’s family, prospective parents Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, veteran star Dharmendra, along with numerous Bollywood personalities, also made their way to the polls, showing their commitment to democracy.
