Prominent actors such as Naseeruddin Shah, Samyuktha Menon, Jisshu Sengupta, Aditya Seal, Pramod Pathak, and Chhaya Kadam of Cannes Grand Prix winner “All We Imagine As Light” fame also complete the cast of this pan-India production.

The initial phase of “Maharagni” was concluded recently, and the creators revealed the official teaser on Tuesday.

Uppalapati has also penned the movie, which is produced by Harman Baweja and Venkata Anish Dorigillu under the banners of Baweja Studios and E7 Entertainments.

“Maharagni” has been a passion project, according to the filmmaker.

The film is slated to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Kajol and Prabhudeva initially collaborated in 1997’s Tamil film “Minsara Kanavu”, later dubbed in Hindi as “Sapnay”. The movie also featured Arvind Swami and was directed by Rajiv Menon.
