Through images shared alongside the acclaimed actor, PIB In Meghalaya announced, “Esteemed Indian Director of Photography Santosh Sivan has been honored with the prestigious Pierre Angénieux ExcelLens in Cinematography award at the Cannes Film Festival 2024, setting a milestone as the first Asian honoree. The Bharat Pavilion had the pleasure of hosting @aditiraohydari.” Hydari also talked about the famed cinematographer during the gathering.

Aditi’s Journey to Cannes

Following in Aishwarya Rai’s footsteps, Aditi is set to represent the celebrated brand L’Oreal Paris at the acclaimed festival. Before departing for France, she took to Instagram on Tuesday morning to post fresh snapshots, capturing her chic ensemble—a white jacket paired with sleek black trousers and a complementary cap—from her abode in India.

She acknowledged her crew for Cannes 2024, expressing in her post, “I Cannes. Wish me luck! We Cannes! Sanu, Eli poo, Sandy, Esther, Vaishnav, Santu, Panks, Shakeel—may the force be with us! We are worth it!!!! @lorealparis @lorealindia.”

Hydari made her grand Cannes entrance in 2022 and has continued to captivate onlookers with her stunning presences, both on the glamorous red carpet and beyond.
