In her previous roles, Chakravarti shined on “Comedy Nights with Kapil” and “The Kapil Sharma Show”, both acclaimed series.

When asked about her non-involvement in “The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show”, she said to PTI: “I cannot really explain why. Since the previous show I was part of ended in July last year, I’ve been exploring different avenues, networking and engaging with new people.”

Teaming up with Netflix, Sharma launched “The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show” which stars various comedians including Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda among others.

Chakravarti, also celebrated for her role in the television drama “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain”, often encounters fans and neighbors who express how much they miss her on-screen antics.

“The heartfelt messages and encounters with fans are what keep me motivated to embrace fresh challenges. In London last year, many fans reminisced over my performance in ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’. It’s wonderful to see such admiration, reinforcing that my work has made an impact,” she shared.

At 35 years old, Chakravarti is preparing to test her mettle on the adventurous reality show “Khatron Ke Khiladi 14”. Moving forward, she’s eager to diversify her career and explore new possibilities.

“New and exciting developments in fiction are on the horizon. I’ve also been involved with theatre. Now, it’s time for something diverse,” she remarked.

She holds dear the recognition she received for portraying Natasha Kapoor in “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain” and her part in Anurag Basu’s film “Barfi!” where she played the friend of Ileana D’Cruz’s character.

“Being a part of ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ was a landmark in my career, and I attribute much of my success to it. Though I didn’t have a tangible script for ‘Barfi!’, the experience was like an invaluable acting workshop, and having it on my resume speaks volumes,” she commented.

Her upcoming participation in “Khatron Ke Khiladi 14”, a thrilling competition show hosted by Rohit Shetty, is a source of excitement not just for her but also for her mother, who has always encouraged her to take part.

“Every year my mother would propose I join the show, wondering what it’d be like to watch me in challenging situations. The show provides an excellent opportunity to showcase my authenticity and how I tackle real-life adventures,” she concluded.

Joining her in the latest installment of “Khatron Ke Khiladi” will be a host of celebrities, ready to brave their fears. The show is set to broadcast on the Colors channel.
