This visionary project, built through a public-private partnership (PPP) framework, saw Bayview Projects LLB presenting the most favorable revenue-sharing proposition to the local government, landing them the role of the lead developer for this new venture. The call for bids originally went out on September 30, 2023, with a final submission deadline set for January 5, 2024, marking the third occasion the development of the Film City went out for bid after two prior rounds failed to draw sufficient investor interest.

Bayview Projects LLP is prepared to secure a concession agreement with the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority by June, which will give them custody of the land. Following the deal, they will have a window of six months to initiate construction.

Exploring the Noida Film City Vision

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh has championed the Noida Film City as a core part of his vision, aspiring to create a premier international calibre establishment over a sprawling 1,000 acres, with 230 acres earmarked for the initial phase, along the Yamuna Expressway. Located strategically in Sector 21 near the soon-to-be-functional Noida International Airport, the film city will assign 155 acres to the principal film industry operations and reserve another 75 acres for commercial activity. With impressive features such as a cinema museum, a film university, and a helipad, the planned Film City is poised to become a luxurious hub for creative and commercial filmmaking endeavors.
