Four girls stabbed at cinema in Massachusetts | US News

Four females aged from nine to 17 were assaulted with a knife in an “unprovoked” incident at a cinema in Massachusetts, US law enforcement reported. A 21-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were also discovered stabbed in a McDonald’s eatery in an episode that might be related, authorities stated.
A man, whose identity remains undisclosed, was detained after a car pursuit that culminated in a collision in Sandwich, Cape Cod. Authorities indicated a man entered the AMC Braintree 10 facility, situated south of Boston, around 6pm local time on Saturday and went into one of the auditoriums without purchasing a ticket.”Without uttering a word or any notice, he abruptly assaulted the four young females,” the Braintree police department mentioned in a release.
“The assault seemed to be without provocation. Following the attack, the individual fled the scene in a vehicle.”The females endured injuries that were not life-threatening and were transported to medical centers in Boston for care.Read more US news:PGA Tour golfer ended his own life, relatives say ‘Lock him up’: Trump jeered at gathering

The suspect’s vehicle – which appeared to be a black SUV – and license plate was captured on camera, law enforcement noted.
A car fitting the description of the suspect’s vehicle was later noticed in Plymouth, around 27 miles south of Braintree. Authorities said it had departed a McDonald’s eatery, where a 21-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were found stabbed and both were transported to medical centers with injuries. Law enforcement located the vehicle another 20 miles south, in Sandwich, and tried to stop it, but it did not halt and subsequently crashed. The driver was detained soon after and was undergoing treatment at a medical facility.
