Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet’s royal fate tied to Prince George’s future reign

Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet’s royal destiny tied to Prince George’s future rule

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet could still become active royals even though their parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have stepped back from royal responsibilities. According to royal analyst Jack Royston, once Prince George ascends to the throne, possibly in 50-60 years, he might invite his cousins to return to royal duties.“George will not possess the authority to actually make decisions until he is king, which will likely be many years from now, potentially as many as 50 to 60 years if William‘s reign extends into his 90s, akin to Queen Elizabeth II‘s,” the expert mentioned, as reported by The Express. “That is, of course, assuming neither William nor George declines the opportunity to wear the crown,” Royston noted, adding that until George ascends to the throne, his father will be “making the decisions.” Regarding the future of Sussexes’ children, he remarked, “However, once George is king, there is no specific reason why he could not invite Archie and Lilibet to return. After all, they remain in the line of succession.” It is essential to note here that currently, Archie and Lilibet are sixth and seventh in line to the throne.
