The wait is over as fans get their first glimpse of Liam Hemsworth taking over the iconic role of The Witcher, where he presents an uncanny resemblance to the original series lead.

Netflix’s series executive producer, Lauren S. Hissrich, shared insights with EW, stating, “We’ve been perfecting his image for over twelve months, and it’s incredibly exciting to unveil Liam Hemsworth in the role of Geralt of Rivia.”

S. Hissrich elaborated on the casting, “From his first day on set, Liam has impressed everyone with his dedication and accurate portrayal of the character, from the rough beard to the trademark scar. We’re having a blast filming the fourth season and can’t wait to bring the audience along for this new chapter.”

Previously, the mantle of the fantasy hero was worn by Henry Cavill, who departed the series in 2022, paving the way for Hemsworth to step in.

Although the streaming service has yet to declare an official release date for season four, it has been confirmed that the saga will conclude with a fifth season.
