King Charles ‘humiliates’ Prince Harry over ‘version of events’ for UK visit

Prince Harry Faces Scrutiny for Differing Narratives Around King Charles’ Alleged Snub

King Charles Allegedly Shames Prince Harry Over Conflicting Account of UK Visit

The narrative presented by Prince Harry regarding his interactions with King Charles during his UK visit is being contested by individuals close to the monarch. They assert that the Duke declined the king’s invitation to stay at the Palace.

Countering Prince Harry’s statement that he was unable to see Charles due to the king’s “full programme,” a confidant has questioned the Duke’s recounting of events.

In an article for news.com.au, royal commentator Daniella Elser suggested that King Charles appeared willing to reconcile, extending a hospitality offer to Harry, which was ultimately rejected by the Prince.

According to Elser, not only did Harry turn away from the king’s gesture, but he also publicly shared a skewed representation of their exchange.

Elser wrote about the controversy surrounding the true events of Harry’s previous visit to Britain, with several of the king’s associates disputing Harry’s version of the story.

“These sources report that Prince Harry didn’t seek out a meeting with his father, yet it was Charles who kindly proposed lodging, which Harry declined in favor of a hotel,” Elser elaborated.

Elser cites The Sunday Times royal reporter Roya Nikkhah and a friend of the king: “The notion that [the King] didn’t make room in his schedule is debatable. One might say that opinions on the matter differ.”

“Suspicion was already present, and it has only intensified. It’s seen as disrespectful and immature for him to make these public accusations against his family, especially when they are unable to respond,” quoted a friend of King Charles.
