Daniel Radcliffe reacts to speculations of joining Harry Potter TV series

Daniel Radcliffe reveals his stance on participating in the new Harry Potter TV series

The star known for his role as the lead in the Harry Potter series, Daniel Radcliffe, appears to have closed the chapter on his character in the magical saga.

“I don’t think so,” he commented to E! News recently, suggesting that the show could thrive with new faces.

“They seem keen on making a clean break of it. And honestly, I’m not sure how well it would turn out if we were involved,” he expressed during the Drama League Awards on May 17.

Despite the fans’ eagerness to see him return, Radcliffe has expressed that he is perfectly happy to enjoy the show from a viewer’s perspective.

With a touch of humor, he avoided engaging in what-if discussions, stating, “I’m going to navigate this like a politician and steer clear of hypotheticals.”

In case you missed it, the streaming platform Max, known previously as HBO Max, disclosed plans for the Harry Potter series in April of the preceding year. Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav has indicated that we can anticipate the premiere of the series in 2026.

On a personal note, 35-year-old Daniel is currently embracing his theatre ventures and new fatherhood, having welcomed his first child with Erin Darke last year.
